Job summary

CRISP & GREEN is looking for a Team Lead to mentor and develop our front-of-house teams while upholding food safety and quality standards. You will be a mentor, coach, and leader our FOH teams will emulate, vital to our growth and success.

As a Team Lead, you will train crew and new hires to uphold crisp standards, coach staff, and help recruit for current and future staffing needs. You will also support banking, marketing, and events, while representing the brand daily.

Qualifications

• Previous management/supervisory experience.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Passion for living a healthy life.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Full-time availability with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• In charge of day to day operations in the front of house.
• Build a positive atmosphere and ensure guests are welcomed and satisfied.
• Help recruitment and hiring for staffing needs.
• Train existing crew and new hires to deliver the crisp standard.
• Identify and develop future leaders.
• Challenge the team to improve daily.
• Create a culture of learning and growth.
• Maintain a clean, organized line and functioning equipment.
• Manage food safety through line temps, handwashing and glove use.
• Monitor shelf lives and enforce safety policies.
• Understand operating procedures, recipes, and restaurant handbook.
• Communicate menu changes, policies, and benefits to staff.
• Resolve customer incidents to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Assist with banking, cash handling, and office paperwork.
• Facilitate marketing, promotions, and events.
• Live and represent the Crisp & Green brand daily.

To ensure that guests receive the best service and food each and every time, we need enthusiastic, positive and motivated leaders. Our Team Leads lead our front of house team focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience. The Team Lead will lead their team with an eye on the food, feel, and flow of the restaurant each shift. It is vital that our Team Leads can coach and inspire teams to deliver and maintain the crisp standard.

Position Overview:

As a Team Lead, you will be in charge of training and development of our FOH teams while maintaining our crisp standards with regards to food safety and quality. You will be a mentor, coach, and leader that our FOH teams will want to emulate. We see the Team Lead as an absolutely vital role in our continued success and growth as a company.

Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized line with properly functioning line equipment
• Manage food safety through line temps, handwashing and glove use
• Monitoring secondary shelf lives and enforcing all food safety policies and procedures
• Clear understanding of operating procedures, recipes, and restaurant handbook
• Effectively communicate changes to restaurant team including changes to menu, policies, and team member benefits
• Resolving customer incidents and working to ensure a positive guest experience
• Assisting with banking, cash handling, and other office paperwork
• Facilitating marketing, promotions, and events
• Live and represent the Crisp & Green brand day in and out

Job Requirements:

• Minimum
