Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. in Alabama is seeking Team Drivers to operate with an existing team on sleeper tractors, following a typical five-day on/two-off schedule.

You and your teammate will run loads between XPO facilities, coordinate with dispatchers, and ensure compliance with safety and transport regulations. The role offers weekly pay, mileage pay at 0.974 per mile (split between drivers), and hourly waiting pay for delays.

Qualifications

• Must be existing team members applying together.
• Must be able to partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Hold a DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical.
• Available to work away from home in a five-day work week.
• Possess hazmat, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off with fellow XPO employees.
• Navigate routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a 5-day work week away from home.
• Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations.
• Use internal freight transportation work tools and required systems.
