Job summary

Thrivent is seeking a Team-Based Financial Advisor to join our Missouri office. This full-time, in-office role emphasizes learning and development under mentorship, aiming to build a client base with Lead Advisors for growth and potential partnership.

Over 8–13 weeks you’ll study for licenses, then begin building your book of business, meeting clients, and delivering education and guidance within the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Background check, fingerprinting and securities/insurance licensing verification as applicable.
• Strong technical aptitude with business tools and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the entire operation of the practice.
• Participate in Joint Fieldwork to build expertise and learn best practices.
• Meet with clients to build a book of business and grow relationships.
• Solicit and sell appropriate products, complete applications, and service existing clients.
• Position products and strategies to help clients gain financial clarity.
• Build proficiency in tools/platforms like Salesforce, Money Guide Pro, What-If Tax.
• Collaborate with Lead Advisor on complex scenarios and document client meetings.
