Job summary

BayCare HomeCare is seeking a Home Health Team Assistant to provide scheduling support and clerical assistance, ensuring accurate patient data and readiness for care delivery. The role supports multiple clinical disciplines and coordinates with supervisors for productivity and case management.

The position offers a flexible schedule with occasional weekends, room for growth, and benefits through a large health system in the Tampa Bay area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of Computer Related experience.
• Preferred healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling and oversight for all clinical/therapy disciplines.
• Enter approved time off and patient Emergency Management Plans into scheduling.
• Enter and verify vital patient information into billing system and maintain CPR card, license and auto insurance in files.
• Review admission packets for completeness and assist in productivity oversight.
• Add disciplines as instructed by Supervisor and monitor utilization and productivity.
• Assist with daily routine paperwork and clerical duties for smooth day-to-day function.

• Status: Part Time, Exempt
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On Call: No

The Home Health Team Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for scheduling and oversight for all clinical/therapy disciplines
• The Team Assistant assists in entering approved time off and patient Emergency Management Plans into scheduling package book.
• Enters and verifies vital patient information into billing system, and maintains CPR card, Driver's license and Auto Insurance information in team member files.
• Reviews admission packets for completeness, assists Supervisor in productivity oversight, and works all report as indicated in standard work.
• Adds disciplines as instructed by Supervisor, approves all disciplines, including visit type, enters skills for each clinician in staff management area of scheduling package, monitors utilization, productivity of contract and enters assignment of and updates for case manager for each patient.
• Assists with daily routine paperwork and clerical duties necessary for the smooth day to day function of the unit.

Education:

• High School Diploma
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• One year of Computer Related experience
• Preferred healthcare experience
