Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab in Southlake is hiring for a Team Assistant/Busser/Expo/Food Runner. You will support the service team, clear dishes, reset tables, and help maintain dining room flow to ensure smooth service.

Restaurant experience is welcome but not required; reliability and professional appearance are essential. This on-site role offers full- and part-time opportunities with competitive hourly pay plus tips.

Job Details

The Team Assistant/Busser/Expo/Food Runner position is the backbone of our operations, providing all supplies needed to our professional service staff. This fast-paced role requires clearing dishware, polishing silverware and glassware, and setting dinner tables for service. Successful candidates must have previous hospitality experience and a proven history of professionalism, accountability, and team commitment.

Required Training/Education/Experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 9 hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform all job functions while wearing the specified uniform, including proper footwear.
• Professional and accurate communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform job functions in accordance with performance standards.
• Perform Team Assistant opening duties and closing duties as directed.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and safety; report any issues to Leadership.
• Assist servers with cleaning and re-setting tables.
• Set up and maintain service support stations.
• Maintain, clean, and restock restrooms throughout the shift.
• Properly dispose of leftover garbage, stack plates, wrap glasses, separate silverware, and dispose of duty linen.
• Pre-set large parties and prioritize table re-set with host department.
• Inform host department or Leadership of table availability.
• Restock plates, flatware, and glassware to assigned areas.
• Attend all Ambassador meetings and bring suggestions for improvements.
• Always maintain clean and professional appearance.
• Work with “Teamwork” always in mind.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership Team.
