Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab in Houston is seeking a Team Assistant/Busser/Expo/Food Runner to support service by maintaining dining room cleanliness, assisting servers, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

The role requires stamina to stand 9 hours, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, professional communication, and a neat, professional appearance; compensation is hourly plus tips with potential to earn $50,000+ per year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform job functions in accordance with performance standards.
• Perform Team Assistant opening and closing duties as directed.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and safety; report any issues to leadership.
• Assist servers with cleaning and re-setting tables.
• Set up and maintain service support stations.
• Maintain, clean, and restock restroom throughout the shift.
• Properly dispose of leftover garbage, stack plates, wrap glasses, separate silverware, and dispose of duty linen.
• Pre-set large parties and prioritize table re-set with host department.
• Inform host department or leadership of table availability.
• Restock plates, flatware, and glassware to assigned areas.
• Attend all ambassador meetings and bring suggestions for improvements.
• Always maintain clean and professional appearance.
• Work with “Teamwork” always in mind.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Job Details

Position: Team Assistant/Busser/Expo/Food Runner

Compensation: Hourly and tips. Ability to make $50,000 or more per year.

Required Training/Education/Experience: Restaurant experience preferred but not necessary. Knowledge of wait staff and guest needs. All ambassadors are required to have a telephone number where they can be reached.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 9 hours.
