Job summary

City Teaching Alliance prepares career-changers and recent grads to become highly effective teachers with a Master’s degree from partner universities and dual certification. You’ll teach in high-need schools from day one, with mentor support and a structured clinical placement, while earning credentials and ongoing coaching.

The program offers placement in Greater DC Metro, Maryland, Dallas, and Philadelphia with a three-year classroom commitment after entry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree by June 2027.
• Minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
• US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or DACA recipient.

Responsibilities

• Teach in high-need schools from day one.
• Pursue and complete a Master’s degree with regional university partners.
• Receive 1:1 coaching from a mentor and host teacher.
• Earn dual certification in content area and Special Education.
