Job description

East Greenbush CSD is accepting applications for four (4) 1.0 Probationary Tenure Track Teaching Assistants. The positions are 6.5 hours per day, 10 months per year. The positions are to work with students or student groups to support their understanding of the curriculum; support students with social-emotional and management needs; support students with ADLs and self-help skills, or with the use of assistive technology or augmentative communication devices; provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to students for the purpose of re-teaching and review. Assist with classroom management, including implementation of behavior management plans; provide instructional assistance or support in a computer lab, classroom or other instructional location under the direct supervision of a teacher.
