Job summary

Exclusive Education is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across Key stages 4 and 5 in Chester. You will support learners with severe learning difficulties and assist with curriculum delivery.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience with children with additional needs, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a DBS with Update Service, and provide two references. The role offers a full-time contract starting in September.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK or UK resident status.
• Recent experience with pupils who have additional needs.
• Knowledge of full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Experience across KS1–KS5 or KS4/KS5 is desirable.
• DBS check registered with update service or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist KS4/KS5 classes in lessons and activities.
• Support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties in daily tasks.
• Follow curriculum and assessment guidance provided by teachers.

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across Key stages 4 & 5 classes in Chester working full time starting In September. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with pupils with additional needs.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident


• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years


• Knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks


• Previous KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience


• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs


• Two references working with children


• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
