Job summary

Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide educational programs within a behavioral health setting, aligned with clinical care in the classroom.

Under the direction of the Director of Education and public school district, you will collaborate with the clinical care team to help students reach their fullest potential and participate in ongoing professional development through UHS.

Qualifications

Education: Special Education Certification required; Bachelor's Degree in Education (minimum).
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years as an instructor in a psychiatric/behavioral health facility or equivalent experience preferred.
Knowledge of educational theories and classroom teaching strategies with a good understanding of education and therapeutic intervention.
