Job summary

Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide educational programs for youth under the direction of the Director of Education and local public school district. The role works with the clinical care team within the classroom setting to support students’ educational progress.

The position emphasizes growth through continuing education opportunities and advancement within UHS’s network.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include Special Education Certification and Bachelor's Degree in Education.
• Two years of experience in a psychiatric/behavioral health facility or equivalent preferred.

Special Education Teacher

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Special Education Certification required; Bachelor's Degree in Education (minimum).

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years as an instructor in a psychiatric/behavioral health facility or equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge of educational theories and classroom teaching strategies with a good understanding of education and therapeutic intervention.
