Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health in Arkansas is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with adolescents in a behavioral health setting. This role collaborates with the clinical care team while in the classroom and reports to the Director of Education.

Requirements include Special Education Certification and a Bachelor's in Education; a minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a psychiatric/behavioral health facility preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Special Education Certification required; Bachelor's Degree in Education (minimum).
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years as an instructor in a psychiatric/behavioral health facility or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Good understanding of education and therapeutic intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational programs enabling students to reach their fullest potential.
• Collaborate with the clinical care team while in the classroom.
• Work under the Director of Education and in coordination with the public school district.

Qualifications
