Job summary

Education and Training Resources (ETR) seeks a Teacher to deliver Reading, Math or HSD/GED instruction at the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center in Saint Paul, MN. The position offers a $3,000 signing bonus and an annual salary of $50,000 plus benefits.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in education or related field, a valid Minnesota teaching license, and a MN driver's license with a clean driving record. One year of teaching experience is preferred.

Our academic instructors provide core instruction in Reading, Math or HSD/GED to students and promote student achievement. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR) for the US Department of Labor, our qualified and dedicated staff provide academic, vocational and social skills training to help at-riskyouth and young adults become long-term, competent employees who succeed in today's competitive workforce and become productive citizens in our increasingly complex society.

MAIN DUTIES

• Develop and prepare lesson plans, administer and correct tests

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time working weekdays from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in education or related field, valid Minnesota teaching license and valid Minnesota driver's license with acceptable driving record. One year teaching experience preferred.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

$3,000 SIGNING BONUS - half paid upon hire and half paid after 90 days

$50,000 per year plus benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
