Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center in Saint Paul, MN seeks an Admissions Counselor to recruit and screen prospective students aged 16-24 for enrollment in the Job Corps program.

The role involves outreach, data management, interviewing candidates, and coordinating tours and orientations. The position is full-time, salaried, and exempt, with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and relevant youth-facing experience; Minnesota driver’s license required.

Salary: $43,888.00 Annually

Our Admissions Counselors recruit and screen potential students, ages 16-24, for enrollment in the Job Corps program. The Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), provides education, training and employment services to at-risk young adults.

MAIN DUTIES

• Conduct outreach activities with agencies, organizations, schools and individuals
• Manage contacts and enter applicant tracking data
• Interview candidates to obtain pertinent information
• Maintain established monthly goals
• Arrange and conduct tours and pre-enrollment orientations.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time, primarily working weekdays during regular business hours

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications or related field OR Associate’s degree with two years related experience; one year experience working with youth, sales, marketing or counseling; and valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

SALARY AND BENEFITS

$43,888 per year plus bonus and benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
