Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Head Start teacher to collaborate with the Head Start team and families, planning and implementing preschool education to prepare children for kindergarten. You will help create a safe, engaging learning environment and support family engagement throughout the program year.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with a CDA or enrollment in a CDA program; an Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in CDA program acceptable with completion within 2 years.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Head Start educational activities for preschoolers.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and coordinators to support learning.
• Prepare learning environments, supervise children, and ensure safety.
• Support family engagement and parent/teacher conferences as needed.
• Complete developmental screenings and participate in home visits when requested.

CORS pays for educational advancement for motivated individuals with a heart for service. With an Associate’s Degree or higher, you are eligible for Head Teacher openings, with a range of $22.24-$26.08 hourly.Description: Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families, to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
