Job summary

DISTRICT Campus is seeking a Teacher Fellow to provide classroom coverage when teachers are absent and assist with campus-wide duties. This role serves as a talent pipeline for future full-time teaching openings within the district.

Deliver instruction based on lesson plans, manage behavior, and take attendance while building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. Requires a bachelor’s degree and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required (or actively pursuing degree).

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and objectives.
• Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent.
• Manage student behavior and classroom routines.
• Take attendance and complete required documentation.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers to strengthen planning and practices.
• Support campus-wide duties as assigned (duty, lunch, dismissal, testing).
• Communicate with administration on coverage needs.
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development.
• Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
