Job summary

The District is seeking a Teacher Fellow at Campus to provide classroom coverage when teachers are absent and to support campus-wide duties. This role acts as a talent pipeline for future full-time teaching opportunities within the district.

You will deliver instruction based on lesson plans, manage student behavior, take attendance, and collaborate with experienced teachers to strengthen planning. Light travel may be required, with nights or weekends occasionally needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required (or actively pursuing degree).
• Eligible to enroll in a teacher certification program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and learning objectives, using appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent
• Manage student behavior and classroom routines
• Take attendance and complete required documentation
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional planning and classroom practices
• Support campus-wide duties as assigned (duty, lunch, dismissal, testing, etc.)
• Communicate with administration on coverage needs
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development
• Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise
• Perform any other duties as assigned
