The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a full-time childcare professional dedicated to nurturing young minds in Phoenixville. You will design engaging curricula, ensure a safe, supportive learning environment, and collaborate with families to promote child development.

You will model patience, kindness, and strong communication while upholding YMCA policies and providing a healthy, enriching setting for children and caregivers.

Formación

• Proof of an earned degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services as defined by the state licensing agency.
• 2+ years (2500 hours) childcare experience.

Responsabilidades

• Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
• Being patient and kind with our parents
• Being a role model by making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
• Cultivating a sensitive, patient early learning environment for both children and families.
• Planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
• Supervising each child in your care by identifying, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, ensuring a safe environment.
• Upholding YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for quality childcare.
• Maintaining a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines.

Bachelor's degree in education or human services

What is needed for this job:
