Job summary

BrightStars is seeking Teacher Assistants for the Early Learning Center in Providence, RI, supporting the lead teachers and ensuring high-quality care for children from birth to age 5. The role is 40 hours per week at our Rhode Island location.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supervision, and curriculum, while partnering with families to provide a nurturing learning environment that adheres to state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ college credits in Early Childhood Education required; an Associate degree preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training/certification required.
• Minimum 1 year working experience with children birth to age 5.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with daily activities, cleanliness, supervision, curriculum and assessment.
• Partner with families to ensure high quality care and education for young children.
• Maintain a clean, organized, child-friendly learning environment in accordance with state regulations.
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors following licensing ratios.

Meeting Street is seeking Teacher Assistants for the Early Learning Center for 40 hours per week.

Duties

• Provides assistance to the teacher in the classroom in regard to daily activities, cleanliness, supervision, curriculum and assessment.
• Partners with families to ensure high quality care and education for young children.
• Maintains a clean, organized and child-friendly learning environment in accordance with state regulations.
• Always maintains supervision of children (indoor/outdoor) using accurate licensing ratios.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 12+ College credits in Early Childhood Education from an accredited university required, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred per program accreditors
• Valid CPR and first aid training/certification
• A minimum of 1 year working experience with young children, birth to age 5.
