Position Description:

Small non profit early learning center located on the Eastside of Providence hiring a full time teacher assistant.

Hours available: 9:00 – 5:30 pm Monday‑Friday.

Age groups: infants through preschool age.

Applicant must be reliable, energetic, and have prior experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Support children’s learning and development through active engagement and guidance.
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and families.
• Be willing to change diapers and potty train.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Starting at $17.00/hr.
• 1–3 years of experience with children preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet all medical and safety requirements.
