BrightStars helps families in Rhode Island access QUALITY child care, early learning, and school-age programs. We help child care providers learn about best practices in early learning and apply them to the care children receive. We recognize program quality and give parents information to make choices about their children’s care and education.

Position Description

Seeking a warm, caring individual to assist the Lead Teacher in our newly established childcare center! We currently have part time and full time Assistant positions open for our infant and toddler programs.

Responsibilities

• Diaper changing/toileting assistance
• Food prep/feeding assistance
• Project/center-based learning assistance
• Supervision/care
• Naptime assistance
• Collaboration with parents and fellow staff

Qualifications

1. High School diploma
2. Higher level education, especially in early education preferred
