Westminster Schools of Augusta is a Pre-K through 12 regionally-accredited, coeducational,college-preparatory, Christian day school enrolling over 500 students. The34-acre campus is located in a residential section of Augusta, which is Georgia's second largest metropolitan area. Westminster Schools of Augusta seeks an experienced, talented and energetic Lower School Teacher Assistant for the 2025-2026 School Year. Candidate should have experience working with young children in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Ability and eagerness to provide support to classroom

• Help and support the classroom teacher

• Ability to connect and communicate with lower school students

• Provide supervision of students during class time, recess and lunch

Physical Requirements, Work Environment and Abilities Needed

• The ability to engage and interact comfortably with students on the floor, at the tables, and on the playground.

• The ability to direct children in a pleasant and clear manner so they understand and readily comply

• The ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds

• Generally work in climate controlled environment, but will be required to supervise students outside during the school year

Minimum Requirements
