Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a local contract position in Morton, PA. You will provide specialized instruction and educational support to K–12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing, aligning with IEP goals and school curricula.

The role requires a PA TDHH certification and a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Deaf Education or Special Education, with experience in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania TDHH Certification (Required).
• Experience providing educational services to K–12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and educational support to K–12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing, addressing communication, academic, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized lessons aligned with IEP goals, communication needs, and learning styles.
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress and access to the curriculum.
• Monitor progress, adjust instructional strategies, and maintain documentation to promote meaningful outcomes.
