Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to empower deaf and hard-of-hearing students and promote equitable access to education. You will collaborate with IEP teams to tailor instruction and support student independence across classrooms and settings.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas DHH certification, strong ASL proficiency, and familiarity with IDEA/IEP processes. The role offers flexible scheduling and a mission-driven work culture focused on growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field required.
• Texas Educator Certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing required.
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) required; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs in collaboration with teams.
• Deliver instruction in language development, auditory skills, and social-emotional learning.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and families.
