Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a School Services Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a local contract position in Morton, PA. The role is 39 weeks long with 37.5 hours weekly and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The candidate should hold a valid Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing license or be willing to obtain PA licensure; experience with IEPs and student-specific goals is preferred. This is a local contract for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating IEP meetings and implementing related goals.
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.
• From IEP meetings to direct therapy or nursing care, your role will have a lasting impact on student wellbeing and development.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to tailor services to each student.
• Provide treatment for students with communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations.
• Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs.
• Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
• Work with children in various classroom settings and provide additional services as needed.
