Job summary

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a full-time Purchasing Associate in Fort Worth, TX to support AV installation projects. You will manage equipment purchasing, verify models, pricing, delivery schedules, and coordinate with project managers and design teams.

This temporary W-2 role emphasizes strong organization, attention to detail, and adherence to procedures while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or PO management in tech/AV products.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Excel, including data entry and documentation.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, vendor communication, and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment purchasing and purchase orders across multiple projects with verification of model numbers, pricing, availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing/discounts, resolve order discrepancies, and track shipments/backorders.
• Update vendor price lists, purchasing records, and inventory; monitor warehouse stock and coordinate replenishment.
• Communicate order status and purchasing priorities with PMs, design teams, operations, accounting and leadership; escalate delays/cost issues.
• Coordinate with Controller on budgets and cash flow while providing general office admin support.
