Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a TBM/Apptio specialist to support cost transparency, planning, and TBM Studio configurations. You will collaborate with IT and business units to capture requirements, analyze benchmarks, and develop cost models for leadership reporting.

Remote work is available with standard Monday–Friday scheduling. The role requires 3+ years in information systems, TBM knowledge, and strong communication skills to coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in information systems with business applications analysis.
• Hands-on experience configuring and developing models in Apptio TBM Studio.

Responsibilities

• Support Apptio Cost Transparency, Planning, TBM Studio, and related TBM capabilities through configuration, maintenance, enhancements, issue resolution, data management, and quality controls.
• Support Benchmarking & Survey Management activities, including collection, validation, analysis, and timely submission of benchmark and survey data to inform leadership reporting and decision-making.
• Work with IT consultancy and business units to develop and understand the business case and business requirements to solve technology-related business problems.
• Conduct detailed interview sessions with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and technical resources to define and construct functional requirements.
• Create easy-to-use business process mappings of complex systems and workflows to show interdependencies between entities.
• Apply IT and business knowledge to formulate business requirements to solve a business problem.
• Assist in business relationship management, business strategy and planning, portfolio/demand management.
• Maintain productive relationships with peers and management in IT and the business function, and external partners.
