Qualifications

Possession of a valid New York State license as a Registered Nurse is required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn infection control principles related to airborne isolation and TB.

Responsibilities

Answer calls on the TB hotline in the Bureau of TB Control (BTBC).
Triage and elevate calls to BTBC staff as needed.
Respond to hospital discharge requests for infectious TB patients.
Coordinate with BTBC case management for appropriate discharge planning.
Accurately document hotline interactions and support data collection for operations.
