Job summary

CBIZ seeks a Manager to join its Tax Transformation team, driving process improvements and digital solutions across the tax practice. You will partner with Tax and IT, design scalable transformations, and enable adoption of cutting-edge technologies, contributing to strategic change and growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical rigor, and professional development in a growth-oriented environment, with a focus on Individual and Partnership tax engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 6 years of related experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required.
• PMP preferred.
• CPA certification.
• Strong understanding of tax processes and related technologies.
• Experience with major tax platforms (Thomson Reuters, Wolters Kluwer).
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience with IT project planning, delivery, and SDLC (Traditional and Agile).
• Experience with VSTS, Jira, and other collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with tax professionals and IT teams to streamline and standardize tax processes using automation and workflow technologies.
• Gather, document, and translate business needs into requirements for scalable tax transformation solutions.
• Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and BRDs outlining current and future state processes.
• Facilitate design workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture workflows and document recommendations.
• Collaborate with BI & AI teams to implement analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Support project management, including timelines, resource planning, risk identification, and status reporting.
• Assist with change management, training, documentation, and communication strategies.
• Monitor KPIs and adoption metrics to measure success and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate new technologies, vendors and products and stay updated with industry trends.
