Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's U.S. Tax Technology Enablement internship in Winter 2027 offers hands-on experience supporting the technology backbone of the Tax practice.

You’ll help organize projects, maintain resources, and collaborate on tool rollouts using Power Platform. This role pairs operational coordination with light Power Platform work, building training materials, and analyzing adoption metrics while you develop skills in SharePoint, Excel, and data visualization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365; Power Platform familiarity a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude).
• Strong written communication skills.
• Genuine interest in how technology changes professional services work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize project trackers, status updates, and documentation across concurrent workstreams
• Support development and upkeep of internal resources — SharePoint sites, training materials, reference libraries
• Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and internal communications for leadership and practice-wide audiences
• Assist with building and testing lightweight solutions using Power Platform tools or similar
• Contribute to change management—drafting messaging, FAQs, onboarding content for new tools and processes
• Conduct research on technology tools, vendor capabilities, and peer firm practices to inform strategy
• Support data gathering and analysis to track adoption metrics and training completion at the program level
