Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in New York is seeking an Intern to join the Tax Technology Strategy & Enablement team for Winter 2027. The role focuses on coordinating content, maintaining trackers, and building lightweight Power Platform solutions to support training and tool rollouts.

You will help create internal resources, prepare leadership-ready materials, and assist with data gathering to measure adoption and training completion across the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and self-direction with shifting priorities.
• Comfort with Microsoft 365 tools and Power Platform; familiarity with data tools is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude.
• Strong written communication abilities.
• Genuine interest in how technology changes professional services.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize project trackers, status updates, and documentation across concurrent workstreams.
• Support development and upkeep of internal resources—SharePoint sites, training materials, reference libraries.
• Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and internal communications for leadership and practice-wide audiences.
• Assist with building and testing lightweight solutions using Power Platform tools or similar.
• Contribute to change management—drafting messaging, FAQs, onboarding content for new tools and processes.
• Conduct research on technology tools, vendor capabilities, and peer firm practices to inform strategy.
• Support data gathering and analysis to track adoption metrics and training completion.
