This established CPA firm in West Palm Beach is looking for an experienced CPA to take the lead in their office, with the potential to eventually step into Partnership as two of the existing Partners prepare for retirement.

There are around 800 clients; you will manage relationships, mentor staff, and oversee daily office operations, handling both preparation and review for local businesses, partnerships, and international clients, with five days in the office and hybrid flexibility after six

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public accounting experience.

Ever thought about running your own CPA firm, but weren't quite so keen on the idea of buying one, finding clients and starting from scratch?

Well, what if the clients, team and office were already there?

This established CPA firm in West Palm Beach is looking for an experienced CPA to take the lead in their office, with the potential to eventually step into Partnership as two of the existing Partners prepare for retirement.

And you won't need to bring a book of business. And if you're doing a good job, you'll make Tax Manager by April 2027.

There are already around 800 clients, some who've been with the firm for over 30 years. What they need now is someone who can look after those relationships, manage the team and gradually take on more responsibility for the practice.

It's a fairly traditional firm, in a good way.

Around half the clients still prefer coming into the office, having a conversation and dealing with someone they know and trust. So if you're the kind of accountant who enjoys getting to know the people behind the numbers, you'll fit right in.

You'll work with a varied mix of local businesses, Partnerships, HNW individuals and international clients, handling both preparation and review, mentoring staff and overseeing the day to day running of the office.

Think of it as an opportunity to run a practice, without having to build one first.

You'll initially be based in the office five days a week, with the potential for hybrid flexibility after six months.

They're looking for an active CPA with 4+ years of Public Accounting experience, strong generalist Tax knowledge and the confidence to manage both clients and staff.
