Distinct | North America’s Boca Raton private client tax practice is seeking a Tax Manager to advise high net worth families and oversee engagements.
You'll lead client relationships, mentor staff, and work with Partners across the firm. The role offers hybrid flexibility in sunny South Florida and a compensation range of $140,000 to $180,000.
Opportunity to grow within a national firm while preserving the client-focused culture of a smaller practice.
Boca Raton or WPB, FL | Hybrid | $140k to $180k
The trouble with becoming good at your job is that sometimes you end up doing more of the same work.
More returns to review. More deadlines to manage. More responsibility, but not necessarily more interesting opportunities.
And at Tax Manager level, you probably want a little more than that.
This established South Florida Private Client practice has recently become part of a much larger national accounting firm.
So, you get the close client relationships and personal feel of a smaller practice, but with access to a much bigger pool of expertise, resources and career opportunities.
And some pretty interesting clients to go with it.
You'll work with high net worth individuals and families, advising on complex Trusts, Estates, Wealth Preservation and Tax Planning matters.
There's plenty of opportunity to get involved in the conversations that happen before a tax return needs preparing, helping clients make decisions about their businesses, families and wealth.
You'll manage your own client relationships, lead engagements, mentor staff and work closely with Partners and specialists across the wider organisation.
They're looking for someone with 5+ years of Public Accounting Tax experience, ideally with a strong Private Client or HNW background, who enjoys advisory work just as much as the technical side of Tax.
You'll need to be confident managing clients, developing staff and taking ownership of engagements.
And what about life outside work?
There's hybrid flexibility, a salary of $140k to $180k and the opportunity to continue progressing within a national firm, without losing the relationships and culture that make a smaller practice enjoyable.
If your current role has started to feel like the same tax season on repeat, just with a slightly bigger title, perhaps it's time for something different.
More interesting clients. More advisory work. And somewhere you can see yourself growing for the next few years, not just surviving the next deadline.
