Job summary

BDO is seeking a Tax Senior Manager in St. Louis to lead core tax services with a passthrough focus. You will advise clients on tax implications, supervise staff, and coordinate complex ASC 740 work while expanding client relationships and contributing to regional leadership.

The role requires extensive tax experience, CPA/EA qualifications, and strong communication and leadership skills. A focus on business development and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics preferred.
• Eight or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting experience required.
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice) or Enrolled Agent (EA) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax implications of business decisions and minimize tax burden.
• Lead review of tax provisions (ASC 740) and ensure quality of work papers.
• Develop and manage client relationships; supervise staff and assign work.
• Participate in marketing, networking and business development initiatives.
