Job summary

BDO USA, a leading national tax firm, seeks a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications and optimize compliance strategies. You will lead complex tax projects, manage client relationships, and help shape regional leadership through marketing and business development efforts.

The role requires deep knowledge of ASC 740, FIN 48, and tax policy changes, plus experience mentoring staff and coordinating with firm specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or statistics required.
• Master’s in accountancy or taxation preferred.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills and client relationship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on tax implications and optimizes tax strategies.
• Reviews tax provisions and ASC 740/FIN 48 implications for clients.
• Leads with tax consulting, risk management and client service oversight.
• Mentors and develops tax professionals within the team.
• Manages and resolves complex tax questions with federal/state agencies.
