Job summary

BDO USA in Minnesota seeks a Tax Manager for Core Tax Services to advise clients on tax planning and compliance, evaluating strategies to minimize tax burdens, and serving as the primary contact for complex issues. You will lead engagements and supervise associates while coordinating with Assurance on tax accruals.

You will develop tax strategies, clearly communicate findings, and help grow the firm's tax practice through marketing and business development in the Minnesota market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics is required; Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant tax experience and supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA, Attorney, or EA or equivalent Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax implications of business objectives.
• Evaluate strategies to minimize tax burden and cost of compliance.
• Serve as primary client contact for complex tax issues.
• Provide written tax advice and participate in tax planning and consulting.
• Supervise associates and senior associates, reviews, and training.
