Job summary

Metropolitan Family Service Beaverton, OR, is seeking a Tax Site Coordinator I for the MFS CASH Oregon program. This full-time, limited-duration role supports daily tax preparation operations, supervises volunteers, and ensures high-quality service for taxpayers during the 2026 season.

Under supervision, you will coordinate scheduling, assist with ITIN services as a Certified Acceptance Agent, and maintain accurate records while upholding our commitment to equity and community service.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams or volunteers in dynamic, high-pressure environments, with an ability to prioritize, delegate, and support diverse groups.
• Minimum of a BA/BS in public service or human services or equivalent related experience.
• Experience with database management and quality assurance.
• Fluency and ability to communicate effectively in languages in addition to English is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client Support and De-escalation: triage client needs with empathy and calm.
• Team Support: mentor staff and volunteers, delegate tasks for efficiency.
• Prioritization and Decision-Making: assess situations and keep services flowing.
• Volunteer Support and Development: create welcoming environment for volunteers to grow.
• Quality Assurance: monitor tax services for accuracy and guidance.
• ITIN Services: facilitate ITIN applications as a Certified Acceptance Agent.
