Job summary

Metropolitan Family Service Beaverton site seeks a Lead Tax Site Coordinator III to oversee volunteer tax preparation activities, manage a diverse team, and ensure accurate service delivery during the November 1, 2026 – May 30, 2027 period.

This in-person role requires calm leadership, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of tax processes, with the ability to mentor volunteers and coordinate scheduling at the Beaverton office.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership and supervision experience within fast-paced environments.
• Strong client communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and volunteers effectively.
• Familiarity with federal and Oregon tax codes is preferred.
• Experience with data handling and ITIN services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute Volunteer Tax Preparation activities at MFS Beaverton.
• Lead, schedule, and support volunteers and staff for tax services.
• Maintain calm, de-escalate client concerns and ensure accurate tax processing.
• Coordinate logistics, hiring, and resource management for the site.
• Ensure compliance and quality assurance across tax preparation services.
