BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Manager for Core Tax Services to advise clients on tax implications of business objectives and to identify compliant, cost-effective approaches. The role focuses on communicating risks and changes in tax policy, with involvement in marketing and business development within tax expertise.

The Manager will conduct high-level tax research, supervise associates, and provide written tax advice to clients while ensuring adherence to firm policies and standards.

Competenze

• Five or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience.
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) (or the equivalent of one of these designations) is required.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively delegate work and manage a team of tax professionals

Mansioni

• Advises clients on tax implications of business objectives and communicates potential risks and changes in tax policy.
• Reviews tax returns, conducts research, and applies ASC 740, FAS 109 and FIN 48 policies ensuring compliance with firm standards.
• Develops and implements efficient methods to maximize client benefits and reduce current and future taxes.
• Leads with client relationships, manages expectations, and provides timely written tax advice.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics

Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation
