Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to deliver tax compliance and advisory services to middle‑market clients, working alongside firm leadership to grow the business and mentor staff.

You will lead client relationships, supervise engagements, and coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, and incentive matters while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or EA required.
• 8+ years of federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling staff.
• Experience in corporate income tax with strong ASC 740 knowledge.
• Strong management, analytical and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to middle-market to multinational clients.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters.
• Consult on corporate and flow-through taxation and ASC 740 matters.
• Research tax issues and respond to IRS inquiries with recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international and credits.
