Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or law; CPA or JD required.
• 8+ years’ federal tax compliance and consulting experience in a professional services firm.
• 5+ years’ supervisory experience and mentoring of associates.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to middle-market to multinational clients.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters and deliver advisory services.
• Consult on corporate and flow-through taxation, ASC 740, and related projects.
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries with client-ready recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax on state/local, international, R&D credits and incentives.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing and profitability targets.
• Network to acquire new clients/projects and drive revenue.
• Develop staff professionally through firm learning programs and mentoring.
• Support team growth and promote work-life balance within the engagement team.
