Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. seeks an experienced Tax Senior to join our Northeast Ohio office. You will prepare and review federal, state, and local returns for diverse entities, build strong client relationships, and guide junior staff on complex tax issues.

You will stay current on tax regulations and collaborate with partners on special engagements, while mentoring teammates and delivering proactive tax guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or CPA candidate preferred.
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive tax guidance.
• Research complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and team members.
• Assist with tax planning strategies to help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve financial goals.
• Mentor and train junior staff while reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with partners and managers on special projects and consulting engagements.
• Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations.
