Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master's in Taxation (MST) is a plus.
• Active CPA license or significant progress toward completion.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and initial review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Perform deep-dive research on complex tax issues to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Manage and mentor Tax Associates, providing guidance on technical issues and reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate tax engagements from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met and client deliverables are of the highest quality.
• Assist in tax planning and consulting projects, translating complex tax laws into actionable advice for stakeholders.
