Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Eastern OH Tax practice in an in-office role based out of Canton or Akron. You will supervise and review various entity engagements while partnering with clients on tax advisory services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or eligible to sit for CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain a CPA license.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.
• Willingness to join a firm that supports career goals.
• Strong problem-solving mentality and client-focused approach.
• Passion for public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work with other tax team members to research complex tax issues.

• Expand technical and professional knowledge through client exposure, self-study, and training opportunities.

What You Will Need
