Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Eastern OH Tax practice. This is an in-office position based out of our Canton or Akron locations.

You will lead and supervise engagements, partner with clients, and mentor staff while expanding technical knowledge through client interactions and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or eligible to sit for CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.
• Willing to join a firm that supports your career goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring solutions.
• Passion for public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.
