Job summary

Dean Dorton, a leading U.S. advisory firm, seeks a Tax Resource Support Specialist to help coordinate staffing and monitor tax engagements.

You’ll support both internal teams and outsourced resources to ensure assignments are properly allocated, tracked, and delivered on time, while maintaining documentation and workflow standards. The role emphasizes data integrity, communication, and proactive problem solving across tax workflows, with collaboration across the tax services group.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in public accounting, tax support, or administrative coordination.
• Exposure to tax workflows (1040, 1065, 1120) preferred.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating staffing for tax engagements and monitoring workload distribution.
• Track progress of engagements and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain staffing schedules and resource allocation trackers.
• Support outsourcing coordination and documentation workflows.
• Generate routine reports on capacity, utilization, and project status.
