Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by an expert team and advanced training.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS support while helping grow client relationships and cross-sell services. This role requires CPA/EA credentials or enrollment and prior tax experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
