Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services for clients at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will collaborate with specialists to cover personal and business tax needs and drive end-to-end client experiences.

You will engage with the local community, grow the client base, and connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory options while delivering exceptional service and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Complete all required training and wear provided uniform.
• Interested in building a local and online TurboTax presence with community outreach.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan for the future.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services within Intuit ecosystem.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via Intuit tools.
