Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to prepare taxes, advise clients, and grow a local client base in a hands-on, customer-focused role. You will work onsite at a TurboTax location, collaborating with tax specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions for individuals and small businesses.

Responsibilities include in-depth tax preparation, providing guidance on deductions and planning, and expanding community presence through events and partnerships.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and tax law knowledge preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training from Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours per week.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence and content creation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory helps.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling personal and small business returns.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning, and advisory services to address complete financial needs.
• Deliver end-to-end Intuit experience with team collaboration and customer-focused service.
