Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers in-person at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide tax preparation, advice, and software support, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients maximize refunds and navigate complex tax situations.

The role requires on-site presence, strong tax credentials (EA/CPA/attorney), and active PTINs, with opportunities to grow the local client base and participate in community outreach.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating tax content for community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects to convert leads into clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine assistance to clients’ financial goals.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools, addressing inquiries and tax-related challenges.
